To post an advertisement, select the 'Submit an Appointment' option at right. All position announcements are kept on the web site for 3 months, or until the post is filled, whichever comes first. New job positions are also highlighted on the Trauma.Org front page (seen by 40,000 users per month) and posted to the 2700-strong membership of the trauma-list discussion group. This service is free to hospitals and non-profit institutions, but we ask for a minimum donation of £100 ($190) to Trauma.Org if advertisements are placed through recruitment consultancies. Trauma Program • 257-bed acute care Facility • Applying for Level II Trauma • 12 hr shifts, in-house coverage • All cases come through the ED

Trauma Surgeon Criteria • Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Preferred • ATLS Required • Willingness to work at on-site clinic for pre-op/ post-op visit

Senior Trauma Registrar - Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Assure that complete and accurate data is collected and maintained for all trauma patients diagnosed and/or treated at Lee Memorial Health System Trauma Center • Work with all trauma-related departments within the system to ensure complete inclusion of all appropriate patients

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree. Bachelor/RN preferred • Minimum of three years supervisory or management experience • Minimum of three years development/implementation of trauma registry program with electronic medical record or other electronic tracking systems • Minimum EMT or LPN with practical experience preferred • Progressive experience interfacing the trauma registry with EMR/other electronic tracking systems • Certified Trauma Registrar Specialist within 12 months of employment • Certified AIS Specialist within 12 months of employment • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of EPIC and Trauma One preferred

The University of Florida College of Medicine –Jacksonville, Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery, seeks a faculty position for an Acute Care Surgeon at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor for our Level 1 Trauma Center. Major responsibilities include providing clinical and surgical critical care of trauma patients, elective and emergency general surgery patients, teaching, and research. This position will report to the Chief of Acute Care Surgery and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. Following is a general description of duties and responsibilities: Provide and maintain a high level of quality in-patient care services in all aspects of Acute Care Surgery. Provide clinical teaching of trainees in Acute Care Surgery and participate in the educational program of the General Surgery Residency and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship. Be responsible for excellent communication with collaborating physicians. Assist in marketing the Acute Care Surgery Program to community physicians and managed care organizations. Participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested.
