Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri is accepting applications for an Acute Care or Trauma Surgeon to join the Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Specialists group led by Medical Director, Dr. Scott Sagraves. The successful applicant will be encouraged to participate in the clinical areas of trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery. Opportunities may be available for a limited elective general surgery practice.

Saint Luke’s Hospital is a major teaching affiliate hospital for the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. Opportunities exist for a clinical academic appointment within the Department of Surgery. There will also be responsibility for teaching general surgery residents at this State designated Level I trauma center as well as instruction of medical students on their surgery and ICU rotations. The involvement in clinical research is preferred. The candidate must be Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Surgery and be certified or eligible for Added Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care.
